Parent Talk · With Nature Den

Beyond “Boosting”:
How Children’s Immunity Really Grows

Is your child always catching colds? Frequent colds don’t necessarily mean a child has weak immunity. This talk looks at how a child’s immune system develops and what supports it, holistically: sleep, nutrition, movement and herbal medicine. You’ll leave with simple ideas to try at home.

Choose one session: 13 Nov, 20 Nov or 22 Nov 2026
Thera Sanctum, 102 Henderson Road, #01-01
S$10 per person, for all three talks

In This Talk

Four everyday foundations

  • 🌙Sleep. Why rest is when a child’s body does much of its growing and learning.
  • 🥣Nutrition. Everyday foods that nourish a growing gut and body, and what to ease off.
  • 🏃Movement. How play and being active fit into a healthy, resilient child.
  • 🌿Herbal medicine. Western herbs and herbs that grow in Singapore, with examples of each, what research says about them, and how to use herbs wisely with children.

You’ll leave with simple, practical ideas you can start at home that same week.

Who It’s For

Parents, grandparents and carers

If you have a child who seems to catch every cold going round and you want to learn natural ways to support their immunity, this session is for you. No background needed. Come as you are.

The talk is general education. It doesn’t replace your child’s doctor, and we’ll be clear about when to see one.
