What it is

Hydrogen-rich water, made fresh each time

Molecular hydrogen (H2) is the smallest molecule there is — small enough to slip straight through cell membranes and spread through tissue. This bottle dissolves it into ordinary drinking water on the spot, using an electrolysis chamber built into the base — so the water is at its richest just when you drink it, rather than fading in a pre-packed can or sachet.

It is made by HYDROGEN HEALTH, an Australian company that builds hydrogen equipment and nothing else — and whose engineering convinced us this was the one bottle worth stocking.

Using it, start to finish

Why this bottle

Not all hydrogen bottles are alike

Hydrogen bottles have multiplied online, and from the outside they all look like a glass flask on a glowing base. The differences are inside — and they are the reason we chose to stock this one rather than any of the others.

A true SPE/PEM membrane

Electrolysis splits water into hydrogen and oxygen — and, in simple bottles, side-products like ozone and chlorine can end up in the water you drink. This bottle uses SPE/PEM technology (a solid polymer membrane with pure platinum electrodes — the approach used in medical-grade hydrogen equipment): the membrane lets only hydrogen through to the water and vents the rest away.

This is the single most important thing to check on any hydrogen bottle, and the main thing the cheapest ones leave out.

A far higher concentration

Hydrogen Health measures this bottle at up to 5,500 ppb (5.5 ppm) of dissolved hydrogen — several times the 0.8–1.6 ppm that most portable bottles on the market advertise. Concentration matters because it is the dose: it is the difference between a trace of hydrogen and a meaningful amount in every glass.

Nano-bubble infusion keeps the hydrogen dissolved rather than fizzing straight out, which is how the higher figure is reached.

What has been studied

Hydrogen-rich water has been examined in a growing number of small human trials — on exercise recovery, metabolic markers, inflammation and more. What isn't settled

The field is early. Most trials are small, findings are mixed, and hydrogen water is not an approved treatment for any medical condition in Singapore. We stock this bottle because we find the science promising and the risk low.
